Robert Acosta-Lewis has served as an advisor and counselor to the Wauford Group for more than 30 years. Initially, Mr. Acosta-Lewis represented the Group as an Associate and later as a Partner with the firm then-known as Hunton & Williams (now Hunton Andrews Kurth). Since his retirement, Mr. Acosta- Lewis has continued to serve as an outside advisor to the Group on business and corporate matters.

Mr. Balducci is currently the Business Controller for the Wauford Group. He has been with the company since 2001 and has over 30 years of experience in accounting and finance. Mr. Ball has been with the Wauford Group since 2013, heading up the Performance fabrics business, Waubridge Specialty Fabrics. Originally from the UK, he has over 30 years’ International experience with U.S. & European companies in sales, marketing, finance and senior business leadership positions serving the chemical, nonwovens, and technical fabrics & fibers industries. He and his wife have two children and live in the Richmond area.
Mr. Boulton is presently the General Manager for Pre Con, Inc., utilizing his over 35 years of experience in Manufacturing Management and Operations Leadership. Bruce began his career in manufacturing operations as a Process Engineer in the paper industry, and his experience in Operations Leadership includes the start-up of a state-of-the-art manufacturing and distribution center implementing Lean Manufacturing processes, Operations Management of a pharmaceutical and medical production distribution company, and Site Management and start-up of a Contract Manufacturing program at a Fortune 100 client. Bruce and his wife have three grown children and have been residents of Henrico County for 30 years.

John M. Carter
Director of Compliance and General Counsel
Mr. Carter is the Director of Compliance and General Counsel for the Wauford Group. After beginning his career in private practice, Mr. Carter joined the legal staff of Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation, where he rose to the position of Assistant Secretary and General Corporate Counsel for its Richmond based publicly traded parent company, Land America Financial Group, Inc. He later served as Executive Vice President of Law and Employee Relations for Land America, where his responsibilities included management of the Legal Department, as well as overall responsibility for Human Resources and Training initiatives in a Fortune 500 environment. Later, Mr. Carter assumed the position of Director of Human Resources in the Office of the Executive Secretary for the Supreme Court of Virginia. Mr. Carter is married with two children and lives in the Richmond area.

Ms. Chandler is currently the President of AdvantaStaff, a Wauford Group managed company formed in 2005, to bring the speed and flexibility of a contingent workforce to other Wauford Group companies and their customers. Chris has 25 years of experience in all aspects of the staffing industry, including sales, operations, customer service, and financial management. The focus of her career in staffing and recruitment has been the support of customers in the manufacturing and distribution services sectors. Chris is proud to be a Richmond native and lives in Hanover with her husband and their two children.

Mr. Durrbeck joined Pre Con, Inc, in 2017 as the General Manager of the Shield facility in Petersburg, VA. He has worked in a variety of industries centered arounding cutting edge materials technologies. His experience with Six Sigma, LEAN Manufactiring, and organizational leadership has played a critical role in several turnaround operations. Ms. Erwin serves as the Director of Personnel Development for the Wauford Group. She began her career as a Legislative Assistant in the House of Representatives in Washington, DC, before turning her career towards education. She taught Spanish for four years in Chesterfield County public schools, where she also worked for the school division on curriculum development and testing design. She currently runs the training department for the Wauford Group umbrella, where she continues to improve the leadership development, new hire, and on-boarding programs. Emily lives in the Midlothian area with her husband and young son.

Ms. Harless serves as the Human Resource Generalist for the Wauford Group. She began her career as an Associate Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual in Richmond, Virginia. Her concentration within the Wauford Group of companies includes the administration of the benefit plans. Veronica lives in the Richmond area with her husband and young daughter.

He and his wife have three grown children and live in the Midlothian area.

In 1991, she translated that discipline to her family’s business and has built a team of finance professionals to serve the accounting, tax, and financial analysis needs of all Wauford Group managed businesses. Upon graduation from The George Washington University in 2013, J.T. joined AdvantaStaff as an Onsite Manager. After holding this role with a few different clients, Mr. Wauford decided to get some outside experience. J.T. worked in IT Staffing at TEKsystems and then in Human Resources for Fanatics, Inc., while living in Jacksonville, Florida. He returned to AdvantaStaff in 2018, taking on the role of Client Services Manager, where he specializes in catering to current clients and bringing new clients under the AdvantaStaff wing.

Mark L. Wauford
Mr. Wauford is the President of the Wauford Group; a family-owned and operated enterprise that provides proprietary manufacturing services for some of our country’s largest industrial companies. The Wauford Group is a diverse family of businesses that also participates in the real-estate development, venture capital, and industrial textile sectors. Mr. Wauford’s career began over thirty years ago in operations management with Allied (now Honeywell). His experience with the Wauford Group for the last three decades has enabled him to build a team of management professionals who work together to provide flexible and world-class manufacturing solutions to companies of all sizes. Mr. Wauford and his wife Lillie have three grown children and one grandson. They reside in Midlothian.
